Middle Management, Living the Dream

I worked from home today. Had some work done on my car (again) that I thought would take the entire morning, so I planned to work from the shop until it was ready, then finish my day squirreled away in my home office, hammering through emails and conference calls.

But the car work only took an hour, so I’ve had a nice quiet morning.  

Then conference calls.

Then the computer problems.

Then more conference calls.

I’ll have to do more work over the weekend.  A lot of prep for meetings next week.  Try to use the weekend as quiet time to do actual work that I couldn’t do while on conference calls all week.  But now, my work day is over.  I’m done.  I’m going to grab my tablet, open my book, and sit on the couch and read until Mrs. MMLTD gets home.
