Nailed It

This morning, I was asked by a coworker to host an hour-long national meeting for around 100 people.  Web conference.  Not too terrible.  Open the program, give the agenda, handle questions, segues, etc.  About 5 minutes of actual talk time.  60 minute call.

Then a presenter asked me to cover their material.

Then my boss asked me to present some material.

Then my boss asked me to present their portion, too.

Then, in mid meeting, I realize one of the presenters didn’t even show up to the meeting.  I had to cover.

Actual talk time: 50 minutes.  Almost had a freak out.  Didn’t.  Just worked though it, made my notes, and charged on.

Fucking nailed it.  Had a VP thank me for stepping in to lead, said the meeting went smoothly.  Approval all around.

Blammo.  Win.
